HYDERABAD: Two motorcyclists lost their lives in separate accidents in Jamshoro district near M9 Motorway and Indus Highway on Monday.
According to police, a car struck a motorbike near the toll plaza on M9 motorway leaving 50 years old Wazir Ali Marri dead and the pillion rider Liaquat Marri injured.
Police said the vehicle was impounded and its driver was also detained but the FIR had not been lodged.
In another accident on the Indus Highway, a primary school teacher Muhammad Safar Channa was killed when a mini truck hit his motorbike near Khanote area.
The police told that the driver escaped from the spot but the vehicle was impounded.
According to the police, Channa was a resident of Sehwan town and his dead body was handed over to his family after postmortem.
