President phones families of martyrs, prays for peace of departed souls

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi on Thursday phoned the families of Lance Naek Muhammad Ali and Nazir Khan, who were martyred at the Pakistan-Afghan border in a terrorist attack, and prayed for peace of the departed souls and grant of courage to the bereaved families to bear the loss.

The president paid tribute to the families of the martyred for their bravery and courage. He said those laying down their lives for the motherland would always be remembered.

President Arif Alvi said the whole nation was ready to defend the motherland.
