Opposition not taken into confidence before promulgating LG system in Punjab, KPK: Siraj     

ISLAMABAD: Jammat-e-Islami (JI) chief Senator Siraj ul Haq has said the government should have better taken into confidence the opposition before promulgating Local Government (LG) system in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House, Siraj ul Haq claimed that surge in petroleum prices are the main reason behind the hike of utility goods prices.

He urged the government to provide more relief to the public in the holy month of Ramadan.

He appealed the government to take into confidence the opposition in its positive initiatives.
