KARACHI: Engineer Daroo Khan Achakzai, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) and Mr. S.M. Muneer, leader of the business community, Former Chief Executive TDAP and Former President FPCCI have appealed to manufacturers, retailers, distributors, wholesalers, chain stores, super stores, utility stores and others to launch special Ramadan package for the masses during the month of Ramadan. This initiative will enable the masses to enjoy Ramadan and Eid preparations.
They also stated that such schemes are common in Western countries particularly on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
They urged the wholesalers and retailers/ traders to supply smooth and sufficient quantity of food items in Ramadan as their consumption level increases up to 40 percent. They further requested to government and other departments to regular monitoring the prices of essential items so that the artificial price hikes and storing of goods could be avoided.
