FPCCI top brass leadership felicitates new SBP Governor
KARACHI: Engineer Daroo Khan Achakzai, President of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI); S.M. Muneer, leader of the business community, Former Chief Executive TDAP and Former President, FPCCI ; Iftikhar Ali Malik, SVP, SAARC CCI and Former President of FPCCI and all Office Bearers of the FPCCI have expressed their heartfelt congratulation to Doctor Reza Baqir on assuming the charge as the Governor State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) for which he rightly deserved by virtue of his long and versatile experience and excellent track record of working with multilateral creditors such as IMF, World Bank etc.
The high hierarchy of FPCCI added that the appointment of Doctor Reza Baqir as Chief of one of the prestigious institutions of the country, in fact, is an appreciation of remarkable and outstanding services which had been rendered by him in various capacities with the international financial / donor agencies.
The top brass of FPCCI leadership expressed their confidence that under his dynamic leadership and able guidance the country would be steered out of the multi-faceted instant financial challenges being confronted by it such as balance of payment; fiscal and debt sustainability; arrest of Rupee slide; enhance access to finance, etc.
They added that the working and performance of the Central Bank would be further reactivated to resolve the problem and hardship of the trade and industry. They hoped that existing cordial working relations and cooperation developed between FPCCI and the SBP would be further strengthened to the mutual benefit of both the stakeholders – SBP and business community – during his tenure.
They wished Doctor Reza Baqir a good success in his new responsibilities and assured him of complete support and cooperation of FPCCI.
