Pakistan has strongly protested to Iran over its inaction against terror groups who are believed to be behind the attack in Ormara, in which 14 people were killed.

In a letter to the Iranian embassy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) has lodged a protest and wrote, "15-20 terrorists who camouflaged themselves in Frontier Corps (FC) uniform barricaded the road and stopped three-four buses traveling from Ormara to Gwadar on the coastal highway at Buzi Top in the dawn of April 18. On the identification of the passengers, shot dead 14 personnel belonging to the armed forces of Pakistan. BRAS, which is the alliance of three Baloch terrorist organisations, have claimed responsibility for this terrorist act."

The MOFA letter also says that these attackers arrived from border region and returned to that area after the incident. The letter also states that Pakistan has 'repeatedly' shared with Iran intelligence information about these terrorist activities.

The letter further reads that despite this Iran has taken no action against the terrorist entities, local media reported. "Pakistan awaits Iran's response to its request for action against these groups based in Iran," the letter added.

On Tuesday, 14 passengers, including Pakistan Navy personnel, were offloaded from buses and shot dead by terrorists on the Makran Coastal Highway. The terrorists, who were wearing Frontier Corps uniforms, checked the identity cards of each passenger before offloading and killing them.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan is set to visit Iran on a maiden visit on Sunday.
