ISLAMABAD: Turkish Deputy Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General, Metin Gurak called on Secretary Defence, Lieutenant General (R) Ikram-ul-Haq here on Thursday.

Matters of mutual interest, including efforts for peace and war against terrorism in the region came under the discussion, said a statement issued here.

Secretary Defence said that Pakistan and Turkey enjoyed close brotherly ties. Both sides reiterated to eliminate terrorism.
