KARACHI: The Vice Chancellor of NED University Professor Doctor Sarosh Hashmat Lodi has received the Project Award by Asian Civil Engineering Coordination Council (ACECC) on Thursday.
According to spokesperson of the university, Dr Lodi was honoured in recognition of his humanitarian services during Baluchistan’s earthquake in 2013. Prior to this, Dr Lodhi had also received Pride of Performance award. Faculty and staff members have felicitated Prof Sarosh Lodi on receiving the Project Award.
He is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. Lodhi is professor at Department of Civil Engineering in the university. He has previously served as the Dean, Chairman, Registrar, Managing Representative ISO in the same University.
His research interests include Higher Education, Civil Engineering and Engineering Education. He has served as principle investigator and co-principle investigator for various research projects related to Civil Engineering. His is currently working on a research project on Constitutive Modelling of Ferrocement Elements.
