KARACHI: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh on Syed Kaleem Imam Thursday directed the officials concerned to prepare a list of quacks at the police stations level and to share the same with Sindh Health Care Commission (SHCC) besides provision of list of police focal persons of all districts.
Addressing a high-level meeting with SHCC Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Minhaj Qudwai, he asked the officials to work as team with SHCC in its crackdown against quacks across the province, according to a press release.
The police chief asked for coordinated and joint efforts to get rid of the quack doctors and quack nursing staff.
SHCC CEO Dr. Minhaj Qudwai briefed the IGP about Commissions'working and steps taken in this regard.
Additional IGP (Establishment & Training) Deputy IGPs of Headquarters, Finance, Operations and other senior officers also attended the meeting.
