FPCCI's VP Muslim Mohamedi elected Director of FDB

KARACHI: Vice President, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Muslim Mohamedi had been elected Director in Fisheries Development Board (FDB), Ministry of National Food Security and Research.

FPCCI President Engr. Daroo Khan Achakzai, President of United Business Group in FPCCI, S.M.Muneer and other senior business leaders have felicitated Muslim Mohamedi on his election. He scored 17 votes against 7 votes by his contestant in election, said a press release on Tuesday.

The FDB is the only board at federal level dealing with all aspects of the country.

Mohamedi has expressed his determination to work for the overall betterment of the fisheries sector.

He also reaffirmed to continue his struggle for the solution of the traders and industrial community's problems in the capacity of Vice President FPCCI.

In view of his long experience, the board has entitled him the Research, Development and Planning Committee to monitor the progress of the ongoing projects including the package from the World Bank to strengthen the fisheries sector.
