Mazari apprised Tunisian envoy on govt initiatives safeguarding human rights

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights, Dr Shireen M Mazari Monday apprised the Ambassador of Tunisia to Pakistan Adel Elarbi about the initiatives taken by the incumbent government to safeguard human rights and discussed matters of mutual interest.

They discussed various human rights related matters and resolved to take preemptive measures to ensure equal human rights to all the marginalized and vulnerable factions in the society, a press release said.

The human rights minister informed the ambassador about the steps which had been taken for the protection and promotion of human rights and awareness endeavours made to mobilize masses about their fundamental rights entitled in the Constitution.
