The Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan, Hafiz Hafeez-ur-Rehman Saturday laid foundation stone of Shaheed Saif Rehman (SSR) Hospital.
Addressing the ceremony, Chief Minister said that people of the whole area would get enhanced medical facilities after completion of the hospital.
He said that hospital would be established following modern guide line with needed state-of-the-art facilities.
He also highlighted the achievements of the government in developing healthcare delivery system and improving standard of education in Gilgit.
Briefing the Chief Minister, Secretary Health, Raja Rasheed said that hospital would be a 300 bed facility and would be completed with an estimated cost of Rs. 600 million.
