Bilawal thanks members for electing him as NA's human rights committee chairperson

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has thanked members for electing him as the chairperson of the human rights committee of National Assembly of Pakistan.

The PPP chairman took to his Twitter handle to thanks all members across party lines for unanimously electing him as the chairperson. Bilawal wrote,"Human rights are the foundation stone of any democracy. We must ensure every Pakistanis human rights.

Last week, the PPP had nominated Bilawal's name to chair the National Assembly’s standing committee on human rights.
