Two soldiers, 2 civilians martyred in unprovoked firing by Indian forces along LoC: ISPR
Four people including two Pakistan Army soldiers and two civilians were killed due to the unprovoked firing along the Line of Control (LoC) by India forces, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
According to a statement by ISPR, the India troops have been firing and shelling along the LoC since last 24 hours. The two soldiers were martyred at Nakiyal Sector in exchange of fire while targeting Indian post. The soldiers who embraced martyrdom have been identified as Havaldar Abdur Rub and Naik Khuram.
Earlier today, the ISPR had said that Indian forces have been targeting Tatta Pani and Jandrot sectors. Due to their unprovoked firing, two civilians, including a woman died, while two others were injured.
ISPR says that Pakistan Army responded to India's firing and destroyed Indian check-post. The statement by ISPR assures that Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force are fully alert, local media reported. India has started its unprovoked firing and shelling after their Indian pilot was released by Pakistan on Friday night.
