Karachi expected to receive rain today: MET office

Karachi is expected to receive widespread rain on Saturday while the weather in the metropolitan has turned breezy.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi will receive rain today with the temperature ranging between 14 and 16 degree Celsius. The temperature for the next two days will be sunny with temperature ranging between 17 and 10 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, Islamabad and Rawalpindi have been receiving intermittent rains which will continue till Sunday. Other areas to be receiving rain and thunderstorm are today Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Makran, DG Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Larkana, Shaheed Benazirabad divisions.

Whereas, heavy falls may cause flash flooding in local nullahir riverine of Balochistan and hill torrents of DG Khan and trigger landslides in Malakand, Hazara, Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir during the period.
