Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday announced unconditional support for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government's efforts to engage the world and said that he will always support Pakistan first.
A day after Prime Minister Imran Khan's meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House, Bilawal said that for the sake of greater national interest, everyone should support Pakistan's efforts to engage the world.
He said that he would support the government's efforts unconditionally. Bilawal said that although he has many reservations about Prime Minister Imran Khan and his undemocratic politics but he will "unconditionally" support the government's efforts to engage the international community.
The PPP chairman tweeted on Tuesday in which he said that he would continue constructive criticism on the PTI government when needed. According to Bilawal's tweet, "Having said that in the greater national interest everyone should support Pakistan's efforts to engage the world. I, therefore, unconditionally support the government's efforts. (I) will always provide constructive criticism when needed but will always support Pakistan first."
In another tweet, he said, "I've many reservations about our Prime Minister (PM), his undemocratic politics and economically fatal polices. I also believe much of his conduct abroad - particularly his jalsa (public gathering) - is unbecoming of a PM who is supposed to represent Pakistan, not just PTI."
