Two players Tayyum Aslam and Muhammad Asim Khan have selected for the forthcoming Asian Senior Individual Squash Championship to be played from April 1-5, 2019 at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
For selection of the two players the Pakistan Squash Federation conducted trials at Mushaf Squash Complex, Islamabad. Top two players Tayyab Aslam, Muhammad Asim Khan and Zahir Shah (Reserve Player) were selected to participate in the Championship.
Game Development Officer Squadron Leader Aamir Iqbal disclosed that the Asian Squash Federation has given two slots for each country, upon availability of slots reserve player would also play the Championship.
National Coach Fazal Shah was nominated as coach and Group Captain Tahir Sultan would act as manager of the team. The contingent would depart for Malaysia on April 28, 2019.
