QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal Khan Tuesday said government was taking concrete steps to ensure provision of quality education to the new generation.

He said educationally backward nations can not progress, saying that there was lot of educational problems which was ignored in the past, but current government will not compromise on it, said a press release issued here.

He was addressing a ceremony held here in connection with distribution of laptops among students of Makran Division and Nushki district.

However, these students visited various educational institutions in Islamabad, Peshawar and Abbottabad under the youth mobilization campaign and they also met with Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjarani.

Chief Minister regretted that we look for a good masonry for construction of house and prefer to a specialist doctor for treatment, but unfortunately, teacher of quality is not considered to build a nation in selection and it is our unfortunate that the teachers do not adopt their professional in teaching to students in educational sectors, but doctors do not have passion of human services.

He said there were students education fields in some villages of province due to best teachers, but if teachers are posted on recommendation, then can not be expected to get good and this process will create problems in whole system of education.

He marked government is striving to improve governance and education. Students should also play their vital role in this regard, because modern education and training is important for new generation to tackle futures challenges.

Chief Minister further said it takes a lot of time to make a positive human, saying that biggest works is to build a nation and youth through quality education for producing of well society.

He described the learning process continues to be all ages and purpose of the Youth Mobility campaign is to provide opportunities to students of Balochistan for enhancing their information.

Other province is ahead of us in education and other sectors, he said, adding that in this regard, our students should com forward in segment of education for development of province.

He said our efforts are to strengthen prime and secondary level education, because if basic knowledge is good, our students will show better performance at college and university level.

Mir Jam Kamal Khan said the purpose of laptop distributing among students is to enhance their academic abilities, despite he urged the students that they should not be disappointed at any stage of life and should work hard to reach their destination.

Provincial ministers including Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Mir Zahoor Buledi, Mir, Zia Lango, Mir, Naseebullah Marri, Mir, Saleem Khosa, Muhammad Khan Lehri, member of provincial assembly Abuld Rasheed and other were present on occasion.
