FAISALABAD: Federal Secretary for Textile Division Syed Iftikhar Hussain Babar Thursday said the government was taking measures for revival of the textile sector in the country. He was talking to newsmen here after his visit to the National Textile University Faisalabad.
He said the national textile university was playing a key role in the country's development and its recognition at international level in research work was an honour for the country.
The secretary said that he was feeling pleasure to see the outstanding research work conducted in the varsity.
He added that the government would extend all out support to it.
He appreciated the role of the university in introducing new innovations and said that defense sector of the country was also getting benefit from research work being conducted in the university.
Earlier, he went to different departments of the university and appreciated research work in the varsity.
National Textile University Rector Dr Tanveer Hussain and other faculty were also accompanied him.
