NAB chief seeks report on NTS

Published January 28, 2018 Updated January 28, 2018 12:00am

Chairman NAB, Justice Javed Iqbal sought preliminary report of NTS from NAB Rawalpindi Regional Bureau against alleged corruption, leakage of different question papers and other irregularities in National Testing Service as per the complaints received to NAB against NTS. The NAB chairman ordered NAB Rawalpindi to submit complaint verification report as complaints included frequent outing of question papers, alleged corrupt practices and failure to protect interests of students.
The NAB Rawalpindi was assigned to probe the responsible of allowing the NTS to conduct various examinations despite the presence of Provincial and Federal Service Commissions, said a press release issued here on Saturday. NAB Rawalpindi has also been assigned to probe reasons of NTS's failure of devising a fool proof, transparent and merit based examination system, which was failed badly to serve student's interests.
The allegedly non transparent system of examination of NTS has not only jeopardized the future of thousands of students but also squandered their precious amounts, which has no moral of legal reasons.-PR
