LAHORE: The Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar Tuesday said indiscriminate action was being taken against land grabbers and so far more than 88000 acres state-land had been recovered.
He stated this during an informal meeting with senior journalists and anchorpersons at Punjab House Islamabad.
The CM said PTI government fully believed in public service and they were working hard to solve problems of common man, said a press release issued here.
"We are standing with the infirm and feeble communities and are against the mafias," he added.
Usman Buzdar said resources were diverted towards backward areas, especially the Southern Punjab. "We will move forward the journey of composite development," he added.
The CM said, constructive criticism of the media provides necessary guidance adding the role of media with regard to highlighting public problems was praiseworthy and its positive criticism and proposals would be welcomed.
He reiterated that Punjab would be transformed by sincerely implementing the reforms agenda of the PTI.
He said, CM complaint center had been set up to facilitate general public and complaints about health,
education, police and DC office could be lodged there.
"The scope of this complaint center will be extended across the province and public grievances will be redressed at the level of districts, tehsils and villages."
Usman Buzdar said, PTI government would fulfill the promises made with the people. "A secretariat is being established in Southern Punjab so that people may not have to visit Lahore for redressal of their grievances.
The CM also apprised the media men about ongoing development projects and reforms agenda of the government.
