Our 40 % of population is directly dependent on agriculture and agricultural economy. In order to bring betterment in the lives of this 40 % of population, we have to provide them with advanced education and technical knowledge of their field(s).
We have to keep this thing in mind that a very big portion of the economies of the world's most developed countries like Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand and Holland are dependent on agricultural sector and the growth these countries have achieved due to the development of agricultural sector is a proof of the potential of this field.
The contribution of agricultural sector in our national GDP is 19% only whereas, if we look at its volume, it should be around 50% to 60% in total. This is certainly a matter of concern that contribution of agricultural sector in our national GDP was 24 % but it has now been reduced to 19 % only. To overcome the decreasing ratio of agricultural sector in national GDP, I am sure that platforms such as LDFA is bold step towards disseminating information about the usage of modern techniques, familiarity of advanced procedures and new of technological usage in agricultural, Dairy, Farming sectors in the Sindh, are the core reasons for this increase in the contribution of agricultural economy in GDP.
I feel proud by seeing the recognition among all types of exhibitors, which LDFA has achieved. I sincerely hope that this platform continues to serve as a gateway of opportunities to its participants and wish them a very pleasant, successful and a memorable event.
