Message from Chairman, CITIC Heavy Industries Co, Ltd Honourable Chairman, Ladies and Gentleman

On behalf of CITIC Heavy Industries, I extend my warm congratulations to Pioneer Cement on successful operation of WHR plant.
PC WHR project is the first project that CITIC HIC co-operates with PC company. Both parties signed the WHR contract on 25th June, 2015. CITIC HIC completed engineering design and equipment supply within 6 months and set the shortest delivery record of Chinese companies in Pakistan.
After the commencement of the project, the site teams of both parties gave full operation to each other, the turbine eventually started up and connected to the grid on 17th December, 2016. Up to now, the WHR plant is in normal operation and the maximum generation capacity is 9300kw. Besides, the power generation index has reach or even exceed the designed capacity.
The successful operation of PC WHR project, is a beginning of the co-operation between PC and CITIC HIC, meanwhile it lays a solid foundation for the further co-operation between two parties. CITIC HIC is willing to develop extensive and all-round co-operation with PC, including the finance service.
