Tremors felt in Karachi areas

Tremors of a moderate earthquake were felt in different areas of Karachi on Tuesday. According to sources, the earthquake was felt in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and other adjacent areas, sending frightened people running out of their homes and offices.
The students, who were attending classes at the University of Karachi and NED University also came out of their classrooms after the jolts. Intensity of the earthquake was recorded Magnitude 3.6 on the Richter Scale with a depth of 12 kilometres. No damage to properties was reported.
