A simple yet graceful ceremony was held at Senate Hall of the Vice-Chancellor's Secretariat, University of Sindh, Jamshoro for distribution of appointment orders under "Deceased Employees Quota". Professor Dr Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, Vice-Chancellor, University of Sindh was the chief guest on the occasion. Prior to giving away orders among sons, daughters and widows of the late employees respectively, Dr Kalhoro also registered remarks in the context of the given ceremony.
He said that he happened to know many of the deceased employees as they had worked with him while he served at various administrative positions earlier before assuming the charge of the Vice-Chancellor. Dr Kalhoro paying rich tribute to their dedicated services expressed the opinion that a number of those employees were highly committed, arduous and honest to their jobs. He said that University of Sindh, in a big part, owed its success, glory and reputation to the devoted contribution of those employees who had died while they were still in service.
Dr Kalhoro clarified that he was pleasantly surprised to see some of the descendants possessed much higher qualification than the position they were getting against the status of their deceased relatives. He also expressed appreciation for the positive role and efforts of Ghulam M Bhutto, Registrar, University of Sindh and his colleagues towards facilitating the prospective employees in this context. Ghulam Nabi Bhalai, President and M Ali Ghanghro expressed their heart-felt gratitude to the VC and SU Admn for their continuous support to the Varsity employees.
