Noted nuclear scientist of Pakistan Dr Samar Mubarak Mand has said that strong defence system of Pakistan was the guarantee to the defence of Kashmir. Addressing the annual olympiad ceremony as chief guest in Mirpur University of Science & Technology (MUST) here late Sunday he said that hearts of entire Pakistani nation beat in unison with the Kashmiri people.
He underlined that "Nassar Missile" of Pakistan was the latest form of modern technology introduced in the country. "At present, the enemy have to think about for thousands of time before daring to launch any misadventure against Pakistan", he observed. He further said "the material and the huge foreign exchange of any country do not stand as the asset of that country.' "Rather the educated and hardworking young generation of any developed country was also considered to be the basic asset of the country", he added.
Speaking on this occasion, the Vice Chancellor (VC) of MUST Professor Dr Habib ur Rehman said that hard working, commitment and determination was the key to achieve the fame and the laurels at each step of life the world over. The VC asked the students to follow the foot steps of the great scientist Dr Sammer Mubarak to emerge in his form to attain honour, distinction and fame like him through the great hard working.
VC expressed gratitude of Dr Mubarek for gracing the occasion through his presence which, he added, was no doubt a matter of great pleasure for the students as well as the faculty. The ceremony was largely attended by the students of the university besides the faculty comprising seasoned academicians including Registrar Engr Professor Muhammad Waris Jaral, Dean Engineering Dr Riaz Mughal, Chairman Civil Engineering Department Professor Anwar Khatab and others.
