Moong rates down sharply on grain market

Moong prices came down on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of thin trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab fell sharply by Rs 2000 to Rs 11250 and Moong Afghan followed same pattern, losing Rs 875 to Rs 12625, the said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type was unchanged at Rs 1400 while the best type shed Rs 50 to Rs 1550, they said. Prices were unchanged on the grams and rice sectors, they said.
