Lean business on grain market

Small business activity was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday as major buyers showed less interest in fresh purchasing despite the fact that Ramazan is knocking at the door, dealers said. On the cereals side, Urad Burma gained Rs 187 to Rs 12937, other commodities maintained overnight levels, dealers said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low quality was unchanged at Rs 1550, while the best type was down by Rs 25 to Rs 1575, they said. Prices were almost unchanged on the rice and grams sectors, they added.
