ALMATY: Kazakhstan's foreign trade surplus widened to $4.3 billion in the first two months of this year from $3.0 billion in the same period of 2017, the Statistics Committee said on Wednesday.
Italy and China were Kazakhstan's largest export markets in the period, accounting for 19.4 percent and 11.3 percent of revenue, respectively. Kazakhstan's main exports are oil and metals.
Russia provided 36.5 percent of all Kazakhstan's imports in the period, followed by China, with 16.5 percent.
