MOSCOW: Russia's Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said that Rusal, which was hit by US sanctions, has asked the government to support the development of the aluminium sector, TASS reported.

The aluminium giant has proposed that the government help create facilities for the primary processing of aluminium, the Interfax news agency reported.
