55 suspects including 14 Afghan refugees arrested

KOHAT: District police arrested 55 suspects including 14 Afghan nationals during search operation said the spokesman on Sunday.

Search operation was carried out by SHO Muhammad Iqbal and his team upon orders of DPO Abass Majeed Marwat and supervised by SP Operations Jamil Akhter in Jungle Khel area and Afghan refugee camp adjacent to it.

The Police have recovered two Kalashnikovs, one Kalakove, three guns, one rifle, six pistols, ten chargers, hundreds of cartridges of different bores and three kilogram cannabis from their possession.

DSB men, pointer dogs, elite force men, ladies police and BDS men along with police team were part of the operation.
