HONG KONG: Credit Suisse's top equity syndicate banker for Asia Pacific is to join Bank of America Merrill Lynch, according to people familiar with the situation.
Tucker Highfield, managing director and head of Asia Pacific ECM syndicate at Credit Suisse, will join BAML in a senior ECM role, the people have said.
Sunil Dhupelia, a syndicate banker who has resigned from UBS, will be a replacement for Highfield's position.
Highfield was named head of equity syndicate for non-Japan Asia at Credit Suisse in 2013. He joined Credit Suisse First Boston in 2004.
Spokespersons for Credit Suisse and BAML declined to comment.
