FAISALABAD: Under the arrangements of PHA, Deputy Commissioner Slman Ghani planted a tree in green belt of Canal Road in connection to start tree plantation campaign.

Vice Chairman PHA/MPA Hajji Khalid Saeed, MPA Ch. Faqeer Hussain Dogar, Vice Chairman WASA Mian Irfan Manan, DG PHA Asif Ch, Industrialists Mian Ajmal, Rizwan Ashraf, Sh. Khalid Habib, Mian Aftab, Hafiz Ehtsham Javed, Ch. Habib Gujjar and Shoaib Mukhtar also planted trees.

Expressing his views Deputy Commissioner Salman Ghani said that trees were the beauty of the land which play important role to overcome the environmental pollution. He urged upon maximum participation in campaign and said that every citizen should plant the tree.

He appreciated the cooperation and assistance of local industrialist in tree plantation campaign and said that city had been made lush green with the joint efforts of PHA and civil society.

Vice Chairman PHA said that tree plantation should not be taken as tradition but it should be considered as national and moral obligations to promote the forestation for keeping environment clean and pleasant.

He informed that PHA was committed to make Faisalabad green.
