LAHORE: Country Sales Head Sunlong Bus Nadeem Mirza has said that the impacts of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)'s economic growth is getting visible. He said that the assembling of Sunlong Bus in Pakistan would provide job opportunities to more than 2000 people.
He was addressing a meeting with transporters here recently. He went on to say that increasing prices of buses have affected the business of transport specially the Covid have affected the transportation sector a lot. Nadeem Mirza was of the view that in the current situation the provision of modern, quality and reasonable buses by Khalid and Khalid Holding is good omen for transporters.
Mirza added that Khalid and Khalid Holdings setup a manufacturing complex on 2000 canal land in Dawood Khel Mianwali for local assembling of Sunlong Bus, Shacman Truck and CIMC Trailers. This modern plant will be used to assemble buses, trucks, prime movers, trailers and tankers on international standards under the supervision of Chinese engineers, he added.
He further said that buses will not only fulfill the local consumption but these will also be exported to other countries. He added that the assembling of Sunlong Bus will provide job opportunities to 2000 people directly, this will also increase the development in the region.-PR
