KARACHI: Pakistan Broadcasters Association (PBA) has strongly condemned the attack on Aaj News' journalist Asad Ali Toor outside his residence in Islamabad by some unidentified people.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the PBA said attacks and threats on media and journalists are aimed at preventing them from performing their constitutional responsibilities.
The statement demanded that the culprits should be arrested immediately and urged the government to ensure the security of journalists.
