ISLAMABAD: The government has announced new rate of profit on National Saving Schemes with effect from May 10, 2021. According to notifications of Finance Ministry, profit rate on Shuhada Welfare Account and pensioners benefit accounts has been announced at 11.04% per annum.
The monthly profit rate on regular income certificate at denomination of Rs100,000 would be Rs720, short-term saving certificate of Rs100,000 denomination would be Rs7,300 per annum.
The profit rate on Behbbod saving certificates has been fixed at Rs940 per month.
An official said that the profit rates on defence saving certificates and special saving certificates have also been changed.
