LAHORE: A civil court here Thursday restrained the government from cancelling the transfer deed of Sharif family’s resident’s land of 127 kanal in Raiwind and directed the Revenue officials to appear before the court on April 27 with concerned record.
The petitioner, Sharif family members through their counsel contended that government illegally changing the transfer deed of their 1500 kanals of land in Raiwind. The counsel said that the respondent government was cancelling the transfer deed of their 127 kanals piece of land and transferring the same in the name of government illegally. He said their clients had purchased the land and followed all rules and regulations of the revenue. He said that after decades the government was now changing the transfer deed only to victimize them politically.
