List of Presidential Awards nominees: FPCCI slams omission of Zubair’s name
PESHAWAR: Executive Members Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) have expressed strong dismay and regret over removal of the name of Zubair Ali, a prominent businessman of KP, from the list of approved nominees for Presidential Awards conferred on March 23, 2021 in connection with Pakistan Day.
In a joint press statement issued here on Sunday, Executive members FPCCI Rahatullah, Shakireen Khan, Minhaj Bacha, Mamoor Khan and Presidents of Mardan, Mohmand, Attock and D I Khan Chambers of Commerce have said omission of Zubair Ali name from the list of Presidential Awards is based on prejudice and political vendetta.
The services of Zubair Ali for the cause of promotion of trade and industrial activities in the country are known to all and rejection of his name for the Presidential Award on the basis of his relationship with top opposition leadership is sheer injustice.
