LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto said on Friday that the failure of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has resulted in a loss of Rs 229 billion to Sindh and Rs 483 billion to Punjab.

He said the Sindh Revenue Board (SRB) collected Rs 105 billion during 2019-20, registering an increase of 5 percent despite economic slow due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

He further pointed out that the number of patients recovering from Coronavirus is highest in the country. As many as 46,824 persons defeated the pandemic, which is 46 percent of 100,000 patients recovered from Coronavirus countrywide.

Bilawal also expressed deep sorrow and grief over Farooq Abad train accident and loss of precious lives in it. He expressed sympathy with the bereaved families and urged the government to ensure the best medical treatment to the injured ones.

He advised Prime Minister Imran Khan to view his old clip about train accidents once again, adding the country is witnessing plane accident and sometimes train accident and posed a question whether a government runs a country like this.
