ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi Sunday felicitated Pakistan cricket team, captain Sarfraz Ahmed and the management over a T20 series triumph in New Zealand. The prime minister phoned Pakistan cricket team skipper Sarfraz Ahmed congratulating him and his teammates for securing the top position in International Cricket Council (ICC) T20 team rankings.
In his message of congratulation, the prime minister appreciated the performance of the national team during the three-match series, PM office media wing said in a press release.
He said the whole nation was proud of its national team. The prime minister observed that top position in the ICC ranking and win in T20 series clearly demonstrated the talent and hard work of the national team and its management.
