ISLAMABAD: Minister for States and Frontier Regions Lt Gen (R) Abdul Qadir Baloch on Thursday apprised the Senate that the federal government had allocated Rs. 15,000 million for permanent reconstruction projects for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA).
Out of total allocation, an amount of Rs 10,000 million has been released for execution of permanent reconstruction projects, the minister said while responding to a question during Question Hour.
He said funds to the tune of Rs. 1,800 Million were also allocated and released on account of Immediate Rehabilitation Projects by the Federal Government, which were also transferred to HQ 11 corps for completion of projects.
The minister said under Citizen Losses Compensation Program (CLCP), Rs. 22,000 million were allocated.
A sum of Rs. 8,364 million was released by the Federal Government during FY 2015-16 and out of which Rs. 8,356 million has been utilized, he said.
