KARACHI: Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar said proceeding for Hajj-e-Baitullah is the delight of a Muslim and every Muslim wishes to see the Khana-e-Kaaba at least once in his life time.
Karachi Metropolitan Corporation has this year arranged special Hajj balloting for its women employees so that the female staff could also avail the opportunity to perform Hajj.
He expressed these views after performing balloting for waiting list for Hajj 2018 in his office.
Five names were picked from among the women employees who had applied for Hajj Balloting this year. These will be put in the list of waiting list and become alternate for the employees who had been selected earlier in the regular annual Hajj Balloting if they had not been proceed for Hajj for any reasons. This is first time in KMC that separate Hajj balloting for female staff was held.
