NA constitutes special committee to review child abuse cases     

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on Friday passed a motion to constitute a Special committee to review child abuse cases, suggest legal remedies, preventive measures and ensure speedy justice to aggrieved parties.

The motion was passed under Rule 244 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly 2007. The special committee will submit report to the House within 30 days.

The members of the committee include Muhammad Talal Chaudhry, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Zahid Hamid, Shaista Pervaiz , Shahida Akhter Ali, Romina Khurshid Alam, Azra Afzal Pechuho,Ali Muhammad Khan, Kishwer Zehra and Tariq Ullah.
