Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday approved promotion of three officers of Pakistan Navy to the rank Rear Admiral. The promotions were recommended by the Flag Officers Promotion Board presided over by Chief of the Naval Staff. The officers who were promoted include Cdre (Ops) Farrukh Ahmad, SI (M) and Cdre (Ops) Jamil Akhtar, SI (M) of the Operational Branch and Cdre (E) Syed Imdad Imam Jafri, SI (M) of the Technical Branch.
