Pakistan on Friday appointed seasoned diplomat M. Masood Khan as its new ambassador to People's Republic of China. M. Masood Khan, who was Pakistan's ambassador to Geneva holds masters degree in English and joined Foreign Service of Pakistan in 1980, said a press release of the Foreign Office.
He also served at Headquarters as Director (1990-1993 and 2002-2003) and as Director General (2004-2005). Masood Khan also held diplomatic assignment at Embassy of Pakistan, Beijing (1984-1986), The Hague (1986-1989), Parepun New York (1993-1997) and Washington (1997-2002).
