The District Naib Nazim Hyderabad Zaffar Rajput has directed the management of Wasa Hyderabad Development Authority (HDA) to put their all resources in the field and ensure efficient water supply to the citizens of Hyderabad failing which they would be held responsible for any mishap.
This he directed while paying surprise visit to different localities in Paretabad, Millatabad, Noorani Basti, Tando Yousuf and surrounding areas to listen the complaints of the inhabitants about supply of potable drinking water to them. The MD Wasa Mishraz Siddiqui and Niaz Hussain Shar, Resident Engineer Usmani Consultants accompanied district Naib Nazim during his visit.
Talking to the people, the district Naib Nazim Hyderabad Zaffar Rajput said that he has taken serious notice of the public complaints for disturbed and interrupted supply of drinking water to them and has decided to monitor the situation personally to ensure the water supply to the citizens on regular basis. He said that district government Hyderabad has launched mega development projects including establishment of new filter plants and construction of water reservoirs with a view to have round-the-clock potable drinking water available to the citizens.
