KARACHI: On Friday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 49548.42 with a positive change of 31.40 and volume of 83,952,590 shares.

High and Low were 49673.17 and 49459.24 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 270,671,640 shares with 380 total traded companies out of which 218 were up, 150 were down and 12 were unchanged.

INV. BANKS / INV. COS. / SECURITIES COS. was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 50,563,500 shares. It was followed by OIL & GAS MARKETING COMPANIES with a total traded volume of 27,470,250 shares.

The three top traded companies were Sui South Gas with a volume of 19,231,500 and price per share of 38.18 (1.79), Ist.Dawood Bank with a volume 18,927,000 of price per share of 8.07 (0.44), Invest Bank with a volume 16,976,500 of price per share of 3.30 (0.09).

The top three advancers were Sanofi-Aventis with price per share 2868.53 (136.59), Ghandhara Ind.with price per share of 931.04 (44.33) and Wyeth Pak Ltd share of 4999.99 (39.99).

The top three decliners were Colgate Palmolive with price per share of 1710.00 (89.99), Ismail Ind with price per share of 346.75 (18.25) and ICI Pakistanper share of 1067.10 (17.40).
