RECORDER REPORT-PSX mid day update

KARACHI: On Tuesday, until mid day, KSE-100 Index was at 48924.28 with a negative change of -115.13 and volume of 112,769,800 shares.

High and Low were 49039.41 and 48687.26 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 227,940,010 shares with 361 total traded companies out of which 170 were up, 176 were down and 15 were unchanged.

FERTILIZER was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 48,046,900 shares. It was followed by COMMERCIAL BANKS with a total traded volume of 20,484,400 shares.

The three top traded companies were Ist.Dawood Bank. with a volume of 18,538,500 and price per share of 5.63 (1.00), K-Electric Ltd. with a volume 11,968,000 of price per share of 9.33 (0.01), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 11,537,000 of price per share of 46.84 (0.15).

The top three advancers were Hinopak Motor with price per share 1849.99 (64.99), Island Textile with price per share of 1177.75 (28.91) and National Refinery share of 631.55 (25.93).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 5100.00 (98.00), Sanofi-Aventis with price per share of 2749.00 (81.00) and Pak Tobacco per share of 1280.05 (44.95).
