FRANKFURT: German exports rose in August, recording a 3.5 percent increase to 90.5 billion euros, according to adjusted data released Monday by the national statistics office.
Imports stagnated at 76.6 billion euros, helping the trade surplus of Europe's largest economy to rise to 101.5 billion euros since January 1.
