SUKKUR: The Sukkur chamber of Commerce and Industries (SCCI) has hailed the federal budget for the fiscal 2016-17 and highly appreciated the budget proposed OF zero duty on exports of textile, sports goods, surgical equipment and leather goods.
While talking to APP on Friday, President SCCI Muhammad Deen said that inspite of the international recession and economic challanges in the country, this budget was a balanced one.
He lauded tha government for oil import bill goes down by 40pc due to lower oil prices.
He said that government presented best possible budget in present circumstances that will not only revitalize crippling economy but provide a relief to the price hike-stricken masses.
He demanded that the salaries of private sector and commercial banks' employees be also increased by 20 percent.
